I offer a FREE consultation to talk about my service further, to answer any questions and to see if you think you would like me to be your Doula. It is so important that you feel relaxed with your chosen Doula.

As a recognised Doula I offer the following professional services.

Birth Doula

• Antenatal visits – usually two visits. In these meetings we will discuss previous pregnancies and births experiences, birth physiology, birth plans and any other topics that you want to discuss. These meetings normally last two hours and can be at your home, a neutral location or at my home.

• Open communication – Once you have booked me I am available by email and phone. I am here for you as much as you need – if you need help in finding out information or you want to talk over concerns or joys.

• On call – I will be on call 24-hours 14 days before and after your due date.

• Constant presence during labour and delivery – I will be there for you practically and emotionally from the moment you call me. I like to stay for a few hours after delivery to help you settle and get comfortable.

• Post Natal Visit - Usually 1 visit. This is a time to help with breastfeeding, to reflect on the birth and enjoy the little one.

                            Cost: £650

Post natal Doula

My services include practical and emotional support in the home for the mother and family. My aim is to encourage bonding with the baby and to enable the family to cope with this life changing season. I am very flexible with what I can do and look to the mum to share what is helpful for her.

Tasks  may include; help with breastfeeding, helping and playing with other siblings, doing light shopping, tidying, washing, ironing, cooking, looking after the baby so mum can have a bath or sleep.

I desire to affirm the mum, to encourage her to trust her own instincts and be relaxed.

                            Cost: £12.50 an hour plus mileage 

Early Days support

The early days can be daunting. I can be on call for the first 3 days after the birth. You can contact me on the phone and I can visit you to help you with feeding, bathing the baby and generally being another pair of hands.  I am available to stay overnight if you would find this helpful.

                            

Hardship fund

As a member of Doula Uk I have access to a hardship fund which has been setup to help towards the cost of having a Doula. More details can be found on the Doula UK website.
